HCM City proposes to ban online games

When I was in Mathayom, I used to play computer games a lot. However, now, I know explicitly that playing games for a long time causes bad effect not only on my education but on my health as well. In Vietnam, the problem about young game additions has increased. Therefore their government has to take action in order to ban some of the games.

Many online game businesses cause a bad effect to Vietnam society. Hence, the Government orders the Ministry of Information and Communications to make public standards and rates the violence level of online games, which is based on these rules.

The ministry has to reconsider many licensed online games if those games are related violence, gambling or pornography. Moreover, any new games suppose to be evaluated strictly.

In addition, the Ministry asks the government to ban on online games advertisement in the same way as banning advertisement associating to alcoholic beverages and tobacco.

Another policy to control and ban games online is that government should let localities that have several game players. For instance, HCM City and other big cities will join the council for appraising the content of new online games. 14 companies, previously, asked by the government to self-assess the violence level in their games.

The department director Le Manh Ha Communications doesn’t set standards to classify violence level in online games; his department is to build its own standards to control online games in HCM City ,and departmant will also evaluate these 65 games itself depending on on the violence level in each game.

Out wardly, I think it is good that Vietnam government bans and sets the level of the game ,but in wardly,

I can perceive what the gamers feel if their be loved game has to be banned ,and they can not play those games anymore since I am the one who loves to play games so much.

My favorite issue that I love to follow every day is technology. Today, technology has influenced our life so much not only for the entertainment but for education as well. For example, many of my teachers at university, Mahidol University International College, mainly use the technology, such as internet, to teach their students. Therefore, today, I would like to summarize the news about vietnam's technology. On the 15th of july, Vietnam had Computer Electronics World (VCW) Expo e which was hold in the Saigon Fair and Exhibition Centre in HCM City.

According to Computer Electronics World (VCW) Expo event, there were more than 500 stands form many companies in the showcase. Firstly, online stands were present to help enterprises set up their own stands through programmed databases, providing business information and promote products and services to tens of thousands of members of the VCW website. The latest technologies in hardware which were software, telecoms, network and entertainment equipment were also on display that would show until July 18. Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, Canon and Nikon, as well as domestic groups like VTC helped visitors and experience the latest 3D products and technologies at the exhibition because 2010 was the year for 3D technology. Companies had hired young models to “soften” the dry digital equipment at the exhibition.

I think this news is very interesting because I love to read about technology. Moreover, when finishing reading this news, I want to continue to know more about 3D tecnology.

No power cuts, traffic jams on exam days

Durning July 4-5, there will be the examination day for Vietnam students. Moreover, the goverment in Vietnam will be coordinatded on these days. The reasons I choose this news are that this news is very interesting because the Vietnam's goverment is taking seriously on the examination's day so much.

On 4-5 July, Examinees have worried that they will have to do the test in the hot weather. However, EVN will ensure that there will be no power cuts off darning the test by ordering area companies to stop their power cut off . Therefore, there will be power outages happened. Moreover, the big four universities have decided to offer many rooms at low prices. Owing to HCM City National University, there are about 3000 rooms for examinees and they are coasted 10,000-20,000 dong per day. On the other hand, other universities’ prices are just 5,000-10,000 dong per day.

Another problem on entrance exams is the problem of traffic jams. Le Toan who is Deputy Director of HCM City Transport Department, has ordered builders installing barricade to stop their work during the exam days. In addiction, there will be several of staffs staying in many location to ensure that no examinee will be late to an exam days due to the barricades. Police explained that policemen will be on duty during exam days for making examinees arrive on time in those days by regulating the traffic. Furthermore, there are tow telephone hotlines 043 8217922 and 0913303599 to give more information about the exam days for students.

This is a very good news for Vietnam's student since, they will take the exam with no worry about everything . Now, I think that education in Vietnam is better than Thailand because there are no this kinds of policy to help examinees in Thailand. At worst, in Thailand, many students are upset with the test thay take.

Climate Change To Be Taught In Schools, Universities

At present, many countries devolop their education so fast. More over, many in asia countries are also improved it a lot. The reason why I choose to write about Vietnam's education are that first, their education is almost the same as Thai , consisted of pre-primary, primary, intermediate, secondary, and higher education. Another is that Vietnam has many good universities such as Hanoi National University of Education, Ho Chi Minh City International University, Hanoi Medical University and University of Da Nang.

On the second of July, many specialists will talk about teaching climate change in school in order to make students aware of the negative effects of it. When students were young or studing at kindergarden, they learned what was the environment and skills to protect themselves. On the other hand, in primary schools, they learned what was climate change, weather, and greenhouse by doing outdoor activites. Moreover, in high school, they learned in thier subjects such as geography, physics, chemistry, biology, and history.
At colleges and universities, students will be provided with climate change lessons. Therefore, they can help by hands in coping with climate change impacts and protecting the environment.

Vietnam is one of the countries that has a greatly influenced by climate change with the sea-level rises 1 metre, close to 5 percent of Vietnam’s land, 11 percent of the country’s population and, 7 percent of its agricultural land would be affected. To stop these challenges, Government has accepted the National Target Programme to handle the climate change.

When finishing reading this news, I, immediately, have an idea that Thailand should give the education about the Climate Change ;since, today, our world has suffered from this effect so much. In addiction, I am totally concured with Vietnam because they start teaching their population to protect the world from climate change.

12 teams to join national futsal championship

Do you know Futsal is?
Funtsal is about the same as football, but there are only five players in the stadium.
When studying at Mathayom 4, I really loved to play Futsal. I used play every day. Today, I would write about Futsal in Vietnam. I think we should keep our eyes on Vietnem's Futsal; since, they improve their skill so fast. It might be the warning sign to Thailand Futsal because Futsal in Thailand is on the top of Asia. In the future, Vietnam might be worthy competitor for Thailand.

12 Teams Will Join National Futsal Championship
Binh Thuan, Street Cafe An Giang, Dak Lak, Hoang Thu Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City’s Pham Gia Auto, Tam Nhat Minh, Tan Hiep Hung, Thai Son Bac, Thai Son Nam, Ho Chi Minh City’s District 8 Sport Centre and Da Nang are the name of the teams joining national Futsal championship, holding in Phu Tho Gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City from July 20 to August 1. Those team will be divided into two groups A and B : then two teams on the top will be qualifying for semi-finals.
According to prizes, the winner will receive gold medals and VND 25 million in cash; the second will get silver medals and VND 15 million, and bronze medals and VND 10 million for the third. Moreover, the best player- the most outstanding player , the top Scorer and the best goalkeeper will be awarded too. Defending champions Thai Son Nam with Many national players are contemplated as the biggest candidates for the title.

In opinion, national futsal championship is one of the biggest sport events; every teams will be given their all for this. I can not wait to look forward to the national futsal championship ,and i really want to know who wil be the winner.

HCM City geared up for City League 2010

Nowadays, many countries have developed so fast in sport. Moreover, many Asia countries, today, also developed a lot. Vietnam is one of them that I interested because their country is about the same as Thailand. In the past, I think Thailand was better than Vietnam; however, now, it is not. Therefore, I will try to choose to summarize news about Vietnam sport especially football; since, I love watching it.

HCM City geared up for City League 2010.
The rules and club licensing have been accepted by Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation. According to the Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation, the Elite City League will be
Start on this September with eight to ten football clubs in Vietnam. The rule is that the team dividing into two groups; then, two teams on top of that group will be pass into semi final. The main purpose is to limit number of clubs participation, and it was decided that no team would be DEMOTED from League to develop more clubs. Moreover, organize the City League, the Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation held Certificate Course for potential managers in their league. Match commissioners and referee assessors will be arrange be this august

I think that this news will be a good sign for Vietnam football fans that they will have one of the biggest sport events in their country.
In addition, sport in their country will improve a lot. Perhaps, in the future, I might see Vietnam can be able to take part in the world cup.

Do you know Le Cong Vinh?

I am sure that there are a few people in many countries knowing him.

However, in Vietnam, he is one of the most famous people ; he is a footballer.He was born in Nghe An province, the biggest province, located in north center coast of Vietnam.Vinh started playing his career with Song lam, a famous Vietnam football club. In 2007 , he took part in Asian cup, which will be hold on every 4 years . Moreover, he did the second goal leading his team to victory and took a place to the quarterfinal. Unfortunately, his team lost to Irag. In 2oo8, he did the winning goal that made Vietman won Thailand with 2-1 the score in AAF Suzuki cup. During in 2009, he faced with a rumor that he is in the relationship with Thuy Tien ,a singer in Vietnam. Nevertheless, this rumor ended up with an acknowledgment that they are in love with each other. Nowadays, he is playing with T&T Ha Noi team, which is in the third place in V-league.

In my opinion, with his style, fascinating skill, young age and accurate in shooting goals, I ensure that he will become one of the best footballers with no doubt about it.
